Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in spirit, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5:3-12

Oh Lord,

Teach me to seek You and reveal yourself to me when I seek You.

For I cannot seek You unless You first teach me, nor find You unless You first reveal yourself to me.

Let me seek You in longing, and long for You in seeking.

Let me find You in love, and love You in finding.

a first for everything...

Ambrose has his very first stomach flu. Poor guy. He feels just terrible.
Something I forgot from my childhood, though, is that babies don't give any warning before they vomit. Sometimes it seems to not phase them at all. They just let it all out, wherever, on whatever or whoever is nearby. They also don't apologize, offer to help clean up, or kindly wait patiently while you do. When you manage to get a bucket handy when it's needed, they try to stick their hands in it.

Anyway, it's awfully sad to see your babe so sick. Here's to hoping he feels better soon.

It's going around. E. and C.C. have it, as well as come of their cousins. I am waiting for the other 5 shoes to drop. Ew.

I just heard two Schiedler girls are sick as well. Misery loves company, right?

B had his first night of puking at Great-Gma's house!

She said he would just puke and then go back to sleep in a different spot on the blanket on the floor, doing this multiple times. Poor guy.

Renee, yuck! So sorry you've got it at your house, too. I'm envisioning them all riding around on that cart after liturgy looking so cute--only this time, I see a million little germs flying around amongst them. Ew. Definitely ew.

I am glad I decided not to do the homeschool co-op this semester! A LOT of families around here have the bug - but it has not touched our family - YET!
